PAYMENT METHODS

All prices quoted are in Australian dollars. The following methods of payment are accepted:

Paypal

Paypal is a secure payment process. Payment is immediate which ensures your order can be shipped straight away. Payment is made by credit/debit card or direct debit from your bank account. You do not need to have a Paypal account to be able to pay through Paypal.

Where an "eCheque" is used for payment through Paypal, orders will be shipped on clearance of the "eCheque". "eCheques" take approximately 3 working days to clear (same as Direct Debits).

Direct Debit

Bank details will be provide during the check-out process. Funds can take 72 hours to clear. In rare cases this may extend to 5 days. Your order will be sent on receipt of the cleared funds. Items will be returned to the store if payment is not received within 5 days. If you require longer to pay, please contact us by email and an exemption may be made - please ensure you quote your name and/or order number as a reference.

Cheques are not accepted and if received will be returned to sender and the order cancelled. There will be no exceptions to this!

POSTAGE - WITHIN AUSTRALIA

Flat Rate Shipping

Flat Rate shipping is charged at $7.50.

Free Shipping

All orders over $80 with a weight less than 3kg, with delivery address within Australia will receive free postage during checkout.

For orders over $80 with a weight over 3kg, the flat rate charge of $7.50 will apply.

Small Items

Wherever possible small items will be posted in a regular or business sized envelope. In these cases the difference in postage will be refunded. Please check prior to ordering as some items are more bulky than they appear and will still need to be shipped as a parcel.

Other Shipping Options

Registered Post and Express Post are both available. Please make contact for a quote.

Local Pick-up

If you live around Atherton (or elsewhere on the Atherton Tableland) and would like to pick up your order, arrangements may be made to do so. Conditions of Local Pickup are:

  1. You must make contact by email or phone before selecting the Local Pickup option to see if Local Pickup is possible when requested.
  2. You must pay for your order through the check-out process, either by Paypal, Bank Deposit or Money Order and the money must clear before you may pick up your order. There will be no exceptions to this!

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Please contact us for a shipping quote prior to placing your order. Actual postage & packaging costs will apply to all international orders.

RETURNS

Please make contact within 14 days of receiving your order if you have any concerns. You may return faulty items for a replacement or refund (depending on stock availability). Shipping and handling costs are not refundable. Refunds will not be given for damages in transit.

LOSSES AND DAMAGES IN TRANSIT

All items are in good/new condition at time of shipping, however accidents can happen. Responsibility will not be taken by Wild About Scrap for any losses or damages to goods in transit.
